We specialize in producing great products that you can customize in a wide variety of ways – from size and color to custom text and images, your imagination and identity can drive your styles in powerful ways.
But, to quote a well-known superhero movie, with great power comes great responsibility. As a manufacturer of mass-customized items, we set certain specific standards related to custom content that we consider ineligible for production.
Right to Refuse Service Policy
As a custom design/manufacturing company, we reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or decline any order, project, or request at our sole discretion, at any time, and for any reason permitted by law. If we refuse, cancel, or decline your order for any reason, we will issue you a prompt refund of your payment. Any eligible refunds will be handled in accordance with our refund policy.
While we strive to serve the widest possible range of clients and creative needs, we do not accept projects that include or promote content we deem inappropriate, offensive, or inconsistent with our values. This includes, but is not limited to, material that falls into any one or more of the following categories:
- Hateful, harmful, abusive, or harassing
- Discriminatory, racist or homophobic/queerphobic
- Sexist, misogynistic, degrading, or exploitative
- Religious persecution or xenophobia
- Profane, vulgar, or offensive
- Promoting violence, harm, or illegal activity
- In conflict with our company values or brand standards
In other words, we make fun things for fun people – don’t ask or expect us to do otherwise.
Policy to Respect Intellectual Property
We will not knowingly produce items that infringe on other people or organizations’ trademarks, copyrights, or intellectual property. You can expect us to refuse, cancel, or decline any order that attempts to use third-party trademarks, copyrights, or intellectual property which do not belong to you or to us. If you want to do that, we recommend you purchase your own equipment instead of paying for us to use ours.
Our Rights and Your Acceptance
As shown above, we are committed to maintaining a respectful, inclusive, professional, and law-abiding environment for our team, our partners, and our customers.
We are not obligated to:
- Begin production until an order is accepted by us at our discretion, as described above
- Provide an explanation for refusing or canceling an order
- Modify our standards upon request
- Approve revised submissions after a refusal
All decisions by us on this topic are final. If an order is refused or canceled, this does not constitute a breach of contract and we shall not be liable for damages, losses, or claims.
By placing an order or submitting a request, you acknowledge and agree to this policy and understand that all custom orders are subject to approval at our sole discretion.
On the Evolving Nature of Language(s)
On a continual basis, we will work to prevent production of items with custom text or imagery which violates our content standards, listed above. However, it is not possible in reality to know what all the possible meanings are for words and phrases in English AND in other languages with the same/similar alphabets. We acknowledge the possibility that we will inadvertently produce something that violates our content standards listed above because of the ambiguous and/or evolving nature of language(s), especially slang and emerging expressions.
In the event that this happens, it should not be construed as approval by us of the objectionable content or as a change to our standards/policy. Language(s) and imagery can be subtle, nuanced, and complicated. If (more likely when) we get something wrong, we will work to learn from it and do better in the future.
